This is a reflective piece exploring the internal struggle of transforming pain and rejection into darkness, urging self-awareness and control to channel inner conflict constructively without succumbing to becoming a true "villain."
“WhO arE yOu?” No. Not the time for an existential crisis. “What are you becoming?” Careful of what you are becoming. So messed up, that you are turning into the bad guy. So much trauma, and yet you hide it so well. How? Maybe by taking out the rage somewhere. The pain slowly turns you into... the villain.
Why? No one accepts you for who you are, right? You are never enough, right? Nobody appreciates you, right? I know, it hurts.
No one wants to turn into the villain. Yes, I know, people say “I would love to be the villain in a story” but that’s not how they mean it. Or at least I hope they don’t mean it that way. I hope they mean like a villain in films and not a villain in real life. Because, in real life, you do NOT want to be the bad guy, trust me. People will hate you even more for it.
If you are not accepted, not appreciated, or loved, you will turn into the thing you hated. The villain. The villain in real life, not e.g. Joker or Thanos.
But even if we do see the fictional villains and the reason(s) they are villains, we can understand. They all want something better, whether it is for themselves or someone else they love. They have imagined better worlds and try to achieve something. They are revolutionaries, looking for ways to a better life.

Yet, most of the time, they tend to focus on themselves and not care about others. There is a reason for that. Their pain is so much that they have reached the point where they don’t care about anything, but themselves.
That looks like selfishness, and it indeed is. But they were forced to follow this path. They couldn’t stand society anymore. They were not appreciated, loved, or heard and they turned into the bad guys, they turned into the villains.
If you feel unappreciated etc., stay cautious for the devil’s knock on your door. He will come, he will knock and try to drag you to the dark side. It is extremely easy to give in, but then you will be “the bad guy” for others.
If you start letting out your entire life’s hatred and rage on other people, they will hate you. Again, I know, it will bring you satisfaction getting your revenge, but revenge can only bring temporary satisfaction, and not undo the past.
I will not try to lie, there is something that needs to be said. If you carry such immeasurable pain and trauma, you have every right to become the villain. Just don’t take it too far, or you will be hated for being the bad guy.
Once again, knowledge is the key. If you have knowledge of people and for a lot of different kinds of things, you will be able to take your revenge, without being the bad guy everyone hates. The people you hurt will hate you, but just them. Revenge is a dish best served knowledgeable.
“You’ve changed” People changed me.
“What have you become?” I became what society shaped me to be.
“This isn’t you” Who is me then? The innocent and quiet kid in me that is now asleep? I said goodnight to that kid a long time ago.
“Why are you doing this?” Think of your actions and answer that question yourself.

Be careful of what you become. Just hold onto who you are, and it will be fine. Hold onto your young and innocent self. Never let go of this cute person, you need to keep them somewhere in your heart.
People that hate you, will hate you more if you thrive in your life. You know what they say about karma.
Become your villain. Not the villain. Stop fighting your dark side and trying to avoid it. Take control of it. You can take control of your “dark side” and do whatever you want with it. You control your life and no one else. Bad people don’t deserve your time. You can do something to silence them and karma will do the rest.
Be your unique and controlled villain. No need for amoral actions. Keep your morality and do what stays moral. Control the villain in you and don’t let it take over you. It’s your villain that will keep the bad people away, the villain will only make you a bad person.
