The prize, which honors French and British authors writing for young adults, was initially announced during The King and Queen’s State Visit to France in September 2023. Aimed at teenagers and young adults, it seeks to "celebrate the pleasure of reading."
For the occasion, Brigitte Macron wore a striking cornflower blue coat dress featuring sharp lapels and structured shoulders. Queen Camilla opted for a sophisticated grey tweed dress and blazer, accessorized with a brooch and a black clutch bag.
