Season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, based on Holly Jackson’s novel Good Girl, Bad Blood and starring Emma Myers, will continue Pip Fitz-Amobi’s thrilling investigations, with filming set for 2025 and global streaming on Netflix and the BBC.
The hit YA adaptation A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is officially returning for a second season. Co-produced by the BBC, Netflix, and ZDFneo, the show stars Emma Myers as amateur detective Pip Fitz-Amobi and will be based on Holly Jackson’s second novel, Good Girl, Bad Blood.
The six-part season, set to begin filming next year, will see Pip grappling with her decision to step away from investigating following her resolution of the Andie Bell case. However, as Max Hastings’ trial nears, key witness Jamie Reynolds vanishes, pulling Pip back into a high-stakes search for answers. Myers will reprise her role as Pip, alongside Zain Iqbal, who returns as Ravi Singh.
Holly Jackson, author of the bestselling series, is collaborating on the scripts with Poppy Cogan, writer of the first season. Reflecting on the renewal, Jackson said:
“I am beyond thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story, and this time, I’m writing on the show. We owe everything to the dedicated fans, and I can’t wait to reunite with my AGGGTM family.”
Cogan added:
“I’m delighted to be back in Little Kilton with Pip and friends for Season 2 and to bring another of Holly’s gripping stories to the screen.”
