Featuring 195 galleries from 42 countries, including 65 from France, the fair attracted over 65,000 attendees, with representatives from prestigious museums like the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Tate London. Gallerists reported strong sales, with works from renowned artists like Louise Bourgeois and Willem de Kooning featured. New sections like Premise, showcasing unique curatorial projects, and Emergence, highlighting up-and-coming galleries, added fresh dimensions to the event. Director Clément Delépine emphasized the fair's goal to connect Paris’ rich cultural scene with global creative sectors like fashion, film, and design. He noted a growing collector interest in non-Western art and craft-based practices, such as weaving and pottery, highlighting Art Basel’s commitment to excellence and its distinct public programming across iconic Paris locations.
