Tom Holland recently confirmed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Spider-Man 4 will begin production next summer, hinting at a possible 2026 release. Holland expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing that everything is nearly ready to go. He has hinted at wanting more creative control over this next installment, aiming to tell a great story rather than making a sequel just for the sake of it. Rumors have circulated regarding the movie's direction, with Sony reportedly wanting another multiverse film involving Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, while Marvel prefers a more grounded story. There were also reports that Knull, the villain from Venom 3, might appear in Spider-Man 4, but recent leaks suggest otherwise, implying the movie may take a different direction. Holland is also expected to play a key role in Avengers 5.
