This passage explores the human tendency to create idealized worlds, the pursuit of perfection despite its impossibility, and the role of belief in guiding us toward self-improvement and a better future.
How many times have you felt lost? How many times have you found yourself stumbling in the dark for help? We’ve all been there. But why?
We create entire worlds in our minds daily. We live in our own world sometimes, for example when we zoom out. Or should I say, we take a quick walk in our own worlds sometimes and sometimes spend hours wandering around in it.
Dreams are made by our minds and mostly things that we think about, thus, we can say dreams are our own made-up worlds, and we are able to spend time in them, uncontrollably though.
We tend to make our worlds "perfect", since we all wish to achieve our preferred perfection. Someone might wish to be rich and someone else might wish to be a Jedi! Everyone wishes for their fantasized perfection.

When we spend a lot of time in these made-up, fantastic, and perfect worlds, we will for sure find ourselves getting hit by life and drawn back down to Earth.
One thing is for certain; perfection is unachievable. No matter how hard you try, what you do, or what you achieve, you can never reach perfection. Perfection is, yes, a definition made by humans, but it is beyond humans’ capabilities. Humans cannot comprehend perfection, and, therefore, cannot withstand it.
All that does not mean you shouldn’t try to achieve perfection. You won’t achieve it, but by trying, you will gain experience and become better, achieve something better. The work you put into will be more and it will be worth it, because hard work always has a positive outcome.
Humans are built to believe somewhere. We all believe somewhere. Whether it is a god or the universe, it is unarguable that we all have a need to believe somewhere, to worship something. We all need to realize that.
The truth is, we forget about the thing/person we worship when we are at our best, but when we go through a difficult time, we will all find ourselves praying somewhere for mercy.
Why do we all have this odd need to believe somewhere? We believe in what we consider perfect. That is good. We look up to something greater than our entire existence, therefore becoming better and better in aspects that follow this “perfection” we believe in.
We would all wish for a “perfect” world, right? What would that perfect world consist of? Eternal peace? Without hate and wars? A healthy climate? Without plants and animals dying? Could our lives be a happy movie or an exciting song? Is it possible to attain anything perfect?
Perfection is merely the possibility of achieving tiny, beautiful things. If we wish to achieve perfection, it can only be something very small and not of much significance.

So, I suggest we fight for perfection while keeping in mind that it is unattainable. Perfection being impossible to achieve shouldn’t stop us from trying to attain it. In this fight, we will always get something positive.
Accept our mere imperfect world and fight for the best that is achievable. Believe in a better future, while keeping reasonable standards and expectations. Try to attain perfection. Believe in unattainable perfection.
