As her Las Vegas residency nears its end, Adele has looked back emotionally on her time at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The 36-year-old "Rolling In The Deep" singer has been performing there since November 2022, but with only three weeks left, the reality of closing this chapter is sinking in.
Over the weekend, Adele told fans that “this really is the beginning of the end,” making it clear that there won’t be any additional shows. “I’m not going to be like, ‘Surprise!’ This is the end,” she said, as reported by The Sun. Her final performance, the 100th show, is scheduled for the weekend before Thanksgiving. “I don’t have any plans to be on stage indefinitely, really,” she added, hinting that this may mark a significant pause in her live performances.
Reflecting on her journey, she remarked, “They say if you want something in life, you have to give to the universe, and it pays you back tenfold.”
Though fans have loved her residency, the journey wasn’t always smooth. Originally set to kick off in January 2022, Adele’s residency faced delays when she canceled shows at the last minute, citing dissatisfaction with the staging. Many fans, already en route to Las Vegas, were left frustrated. It took nearly 11 months before the show finally began in November, but her performances have been met with widespread acclaim since then.
