The MK Gallery will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a major exhibition titled "Andy Warhol: Portrait of America", showcasing over 130 iconic works by Warhol from 15 March to 29 June.
A major exhibition titled "Andy Warhol: Portrait of America" will be held at MK Gallery in Milton Keynes from 15 March to 29 June to celebrate the venue's 25th anniversary. The exhibition features over 130 iconic works by Warhol, including his famous Marilyn Monroe series and images of Elizabeth Taylor. It will also highlight Warhol’s exploration of themes such as mortality and consumerism through various mediums from the 1950s to the 1980s. This event, in collaboration with ARTIST ROOMS, the Tate, and the National Galleries of Scotland, recalls the gallery's history, notably its popular 2001 exhibition of Warhol's cars.
